Very Friendly is a record store and a recording studio.

But we aim to be something more valuable. Our mission is to make New York City the music capital of the world again.

Spaces like these live and die by the communities that support them, and our foremost goal is to serve our community with the things they want most.

This means we offer affordable, tangible records; accessible tools and services for actualizing your own music, at whatever level you wish, no matter your budget; and above all, a safe, welcoming place to hang out and be around like-minded people.
